Happy B-lated, my dear! Sounds like it was a good one. And have I mentioned what a good WRITER you are...?

And speaking of totally spacing your birthday....*sigh* Yep. There it is, right there under August in the planner. But I would suppose one would actually have to Open the planner to find it. If it's any consolation, my niece's birthday was the 7th, and not only did I forget that, too. I though it was the 9th. BLEH. It sounds like a lovely day was had, however. Please accept my late and totally heartfelt wishes for another wonderful year! :) Hugs!

Happy belated birthday! I'm glad you had such a nice day/weekend. At 41, like you, I also find myself reflecting on the past and feeling thankful and grateful for life as it is now. I think that's one of the benefits of aging a little. Happiness is been earned and hard-won, and not to be taken for granted. If only we'd known that when we were twenty-something! Anyway, here's to the next 41 years!

This entry was revealing and heartfelt. I enjoyed it very much. Sorry to learn you were often hit as a child. How did I not know that?? I don't think we ever talked about it. I wish I knew what to send for your birthday-- have something in mind, and don't worry, it's not doll related! Love, the twitster. :P
