It's late. I'm full. I have bills to pay. I'm tired.

Boy, working full time makes me whiney, doesn't it?

Actually, work is going very well. I'm finding new ways to make myself indispensible. I'm enjoying staying to figure things out. I'm learning.

Last night, I was exhausted, so I finished Hubband's Christmas shopping (well, perhaps one more thing) and did a couple of turns around the 12 Oaks Mall. It's a largish mall, with two levels and lots of neat stores selling all manner of overpriced hoo-ha. I enjoy the walking around and smelling and touching and the occasional tasting (Panera Bread - Asiago Cheese Bagel - Heaven). I had every intention of splurging on something spiffy for myself in honor of my working like a dog this week. Alas, I only purchased ink cartridges for my new pen and some candles to replace the ones that I almost burned the house down with on Saturday.

I came home, watched "Gilmore Girls" then followed up with 3 hours of "Buffy". (I finally understand the whole "Dawn is the Key" thing and I am even more lustfully enamored of Spike.)

Today was all about work and food. Oh, and I need to pay those bills. Yup.

Tomorrow, after work, there's this finger food party. It's in leiu of a Christmas party. We're too diverse in race, religion and age to ever plan a party that we would all enjoy. Besides, we're broke, right? Normally, I would be off on Thursday and therefore have an excuse not to go. But tomorrow is Bonus Caribou Thursday and Boss-Man is looking for someone to go with him, I think.

But now, I need to go. Hubband is waiting for me to view "Christmas Vacation" with him. We love that movie.
